*Phati Padi Hai Yaar* follows the tumultuous journey of Rushi (Indra Kumar), a struggling actor who arrives in Mumbai from Delhi with dreams of stardom. After facing relentless rejection and failure, Rushi spirals into self-destruction, turning to alcohol, smoking, and reckless relationships. His life takes a darker turn when he’s diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease, pushing him to the brink of suicide multiple times, though fear always holds him back.
Even as his destructive behavior continues, fate intervenes when locals save him after a failed suicide attempt. Surprisingly, his medical reports reveal he is disease-free. Standing before a theater audience, Rushi delivers a heartfelt confession, urging them not to repeat his mistakes. What unfolds next is a redemptive tale as Rushi begins to rebuild his life and rediscover his purpose.
